Clouds will rise this evening through Wednesday morning with temperatures reaching the low 60s before another cold front. CHANCE OF RAINRain moves into central Alabama late Wednesday into Wednesday evening. Forecast models hinted at the possibility of some freezing rain or freezing drizzle when the moisture recedes Thursday morning. This threat would be confined primarily to the northern and northwest counties; Marion, Winston, Lamar, Fayette and Cullman. Slippery road surfaces, especially on bridges and overpasses, are possible. A puff of arctic air is moving behind this front with falling temperatures throughout Thursday. It will be in the 30s on Thursday and Friday afternoon with even colder wind chills.
