WARMING UP Temperatures will be more than 10 degrees above normal for this time of year with highs reaching the mid 70s this afternoon. It will continue to look a lot like spring for the rest of the week, with most spots hitting the upper 70s. Saturday will be dry with partly cloudy skies and high temperatures in the upper 70s. The humidity will be more noticeable on Sunday as temperatures approach 80 degrees. Can’t rule out a patchy downpour, but most areas will likely remain rainless. Forecast models indicate showers and thunderstorms arriving with the front from Monday afternoon through Monday evening. It appears that sufficient instability may be present for the potential for strong to possibly severe thunderstorms. We will continue to monitor the threat, but all severe weather modes would be possible, including damaging winds and tornadoes. The high will continue to dominate our weather pattern, keeping us sunny, dry and warm. Temperatures will be more than 10 degrees above normal for this time of year with highs reaching the mid-70s this afternoon. It will continue to look a lot like spring for the rest of the week, with most spots hitting the upper 70s.

THE WEEKEND

The winds become more southerly over the weekend, keeping it warm but also a bit more humid. Saturday will be dry with partly cloudy skies and high temperatures in the upper 70s. The humidity will be more noticeable on Sunday as temperatures approach 80 degrees. Can’t rule out a patchy shower, but most areas will likely remain rain-free.
