Warm temperatures across Auckland could help thaw the Monday blues.
The weather should be fine Monday, with light winds across the city and some afternoon sea breezes, according to MetService.
No rain is expected throughout the day, but it will be a cool morning with a low of 15 degrees Celsius.
The afternoon, between 3 and 4 p.m., will be the best time to go out and enjoy the sun with a maximum of 26C. Sunscreen or sun protection is recommended until after 5 p.m.

Sunrise is at 7:17 a.m. and sunset is at 7:43 p.m.
The weather is expected to turn later in the week, with clouds arriving on Wednesday, followed by a few showers on Thursday and turning dark on Friday with a 30% chance of up to 10mm of rain.
There is hope for the weekend as the rain is expected to clear on Saturday.
The week will have an average high of 25C and an average low of 15C.
Surfing the beaches on Auckland’s east coast might not be worth the cold, with MetService rating conditions as poor. The west coast is a different story, with moderate swell and light to moderate wind.
There is no severe weather warning in place.
Areas of congestion are building up on State Highway 1 and State Highway 16 around Remuera, Northcote and Gray Lynn.
Meanwhile, the platform 2 lift at Middlemore station is out of service, according to Auckland Transport.
The lift at Grafton station is not working either.
