Boston Weather Today and This Weekend – NBC Boston

We have a wonderful summer day in store on Friday! The humidity is long gone and our temperatures are warming up quickly with full sun. Highs will be in the 70s to 80s and with a gusty westerly wind even the coast will enjoy the heat.

Friday night lows drop into the 50s and 40s under mostly clear skies and calming winds.

This weekend is quite nice to start. Even with a weak, moisture-free shortwave heading on Saturday, most of us are staying dry. A chance of showers or sprinkling will be possible in the afternoon.

Partially sunny skies otherwise to start the weekend, and highs in the 70s to 80s.

An upper level system is moving northeast Sunday through Monday bringing multiple waves of low pressure. Showers are therefore back in the outlook for Sunday afternoon with highs in the 70s.

Another chance of rain moves in Monday, with timing to be determined. The middle of next week brings us calm weather and seasonal highs in the 70s to 80s.

Showers and thunderstorms return for the forecast weekend, and for now they will dissipate in time for Father’s Day, with highs in the 70s that Sunday.
