ORLANDO, Florida. – Today’s top: 81 degrees
Tonight it’s low: 53 degrees
Rain: 20% near Orlando-40% south of metro
Main meteorological problems:
Chances of rain are drying up today mostly from Orlando North, coverage there is 20% or less. Higher odds exist south of Orlando and on the Space Coast at around 40%. There could be a few stronger storms over South Osceola County to far southern Brevard County, the window of opportunity to see that would be brief, if at all.
Beaches north of Brevard County will see mostly dry conditions with lots of cloud. North-North-West breezes will also increase a little. Brevard beaches may see a few passing showers mainly after 10 a.m. today. The winds could at times tend to be a bit gusty from the north as the cool front passes. The risk of rip current is moderate, the surf seems to flap around the knee.
Theme Parks will have lots of cloud today and highs near 81. An isolated downpour is possible, but the chance is very low at 20% or less.
Colder air will infiltrate the region this evening, the sky will gradually clear. Lows fall in the 50s near Orlando, 40s in northern Florida. Times are holding within a very comfortable range as we head into and through the coming weekend. Chances of rain are nil during this time.
