COLD weather today, snow later tonight!

TODAY: Wind chills and teen temperatures will be 30 below zero this morning, so be sure to bundle up on your way out! Temperatures will warm up throughout the day and into the night. Our high temperatures at midnight will be in the low to medium single digits above zero. We will see mostly clear skies for most of the day with increasingly cloudy clouds later this afternoon. Light snow will move late tonight until Saturday morning. Most areas will see a one inch trail of snow, but the far northern MN and northern parts of the north coast could see 1 to 2 inches.

SATURDAY: Light snow ends for most places by mid-morning. Most of the day will be mostly cloudy with peaks in teens and 20s. Clear skies overnight with winds increasing WNW to 10-20 MPH, gusting higher at times. Wind chills will plunge teens up to 20 years below zero Saturday night through Sunday.

SUNDAY: Windy conditions continue for the first half of the day. Maximums reach above and below zero with mostly clear to partly cloudy skies. Wind chills will likely be from teens to twenties below zero. Low temperatures drop in the teens to 20s below zero, with some possible 30s below zero away from Lake Superior.
