The day is expected to be warmer in Essex, with “extended sunny spells” expected. It will feel a lot more like spring than the icy winter breeze we’ve been experiencing for the past few weeks.

The morning could be cold this Sunday (April 10), but temperatures should not drop below 5°C all day. The weather will be sunny until noon, becoming overcast in the afternoon.

The Met Office forecast for the east of England on Sunday reads: “A cold, frosty start, then a dry, bright morning with long sunny spells and light winds. Cloudier in the afternoon with some of hazy sunshine but staying dry. Maximum temperature 13C.”
