Herts is forecast for a much cooler day today (Saturday 18th June) as we come out on the other side of the hottest day this year. Temperatures will still be warm with an average of 23°C in most areas. Rain is also forecast for late morning.
The Met Office weather forecast for the East of England today read: “Mainly cloudy with outbreaks of rain, becoming heavy at times with a chance of thunder. Probably staying warm with hazy sunshine in the extreme southeast, feeling noticeably cooler elsewhere. temperature 26°C.”
