NFL weather today: Breaking down the Week 2 forecast, what the report means for fantasy football rosters, betting


In the Week 2 weather report, we’ll go over which games appear to have the strongest projected gusts of wind, possible precipitation, and more. We will also give you the games where we should not you have to worry about the weather, that is, games you can choose in DFS without having an ulcer. Useful weather resources include the National Weather Service and Dark Sky, among others.

Worst Weather Games

Seattle Seahawks vs. San Francisco 49ers

This game looks the worst at the moment as there is a 90% chance of rain and wind around 15 mph with temperatures below 60. Trey Lance and the 49ers appear to be dealing with the elements again.

Indianapolis Colts vs. Jacksonville Jaguars

Florida always has a chance of rain and Sunday is no different. The timing of the rain’s worst is yet to be set in stone, but there’s an 80% chance there will be rain at this point. Winds won’t be gusty, but they won’t be light, with sustained winds of 15 mph and temperatures around 80 degrees.

Best time games

Carolina Panthers vs. New York Giants

Temperatures will be warmer for this time of year, with highs in the mid-80s. The good news is that there will be no precipitation and winds are not expected to exceed 10 mph.

Miami Dolphins vs. Baltimore Ravens

No weather problem in Baltimore as temperatures will be in the mid 80’s with no rain and wind around 5 mph.

New England Patriots vs. Pittsburgh Steelers

Pittsburgh will be sunny with highs in the 80s. Winds are expected to be around 10 mph.

New York Jets at Cleveland Browns

Cleveland will be pretty nice for this game, with temperatures in the 70s. The wind should stay below 10 mph and no rain in sight.

Atlanta Falcons vs. Los Angeles Rams

Los Angeles has no rain in the forecast, shock. Temperatures are expected to hover around 77 degrees and winds around 10 mph.

Houston Texans vs. Denver Broncos

It will be hot in the Rockies, as temperatures will be in the 80s, but the low humidity should keep it quite pleasant. The wind is expected to stay below 10 mph with no rain in the forecast.

Chicago Bears at Green Bay Packers

There is a chance of rain in Green Bay, but for now it looks like it will be over before game time. Temperatures will be in the mid 70s and will drop during the game. The wind will be around 5 mph.

Tennessee Titans vs. Buffalo Bills

There is a slight chance of rain in Orchard Park, but at the moment it doesn’t look like it will matter if anything develops. Temperatures will be in the 60s and the wind will be around 8 mph.

Minnesota Vikings vs. Philadelphia Eagles

Good football weather for Monday night’s game. Temperatures should have dropped to the mid 70s at game time with light winds.
