Useful weather resources include the National Weather Service and Dark Sky, among others.

We have a good number of games in domes or hot places, so there’s not a lot of weather-related storylines this week. The Seahawks

Worst Weather Games

Miami Dolphins vs. Chicago Bears

Chicago is being hit hard by the wind as we speak, as Saturday had a severe wind warning for the area. Fortunately, Sunday will not be so bad. Instead of sustained winds of 30 mph and gusts of 50 mph, Sunday brings us sustained winds of 15 mph and gusts reaching around 30 mph. The high will be around 60 degrees and no rain is forecast.

It’s an early game, so if the winds hit the pitch hard, we’ll probably get a report or two from the stadium.

Indianapolis Colts vs. New England Patriots

Foxboro, MA has a small wind problem, with winds around 10-14 mph, but with chances of gusts around 25 mph. Temperatures will be off season at 74 degrees with cloudy skies, but no rain in the forecast. I’m not too worried about this one.

Best time games

MetLife Stadium has a 20% chance of rain with highs in the mid-70s. Wind should be around 7-11 mph. Not much to worry about here.

Carolina Panthers vs. Cincinnati Bengals

This is another game that just missed the high winds. Luckily Sunday brings calm winds of 5-7 mph with a high of around 70 degrees and no rain.

Las Vegas Raiders vs. Jacksonville Jaguars

Rain is the only threat for this game with a 40% chance. Winds are expected to stay around 8-13 mph and temperatures will be in the mid 80s.

Minnesota Vikings to Washington Commanders

FedEx Field has a 30% chance of showers, with high temperatures of around 77 degrees and winds of 5-10 mph. No worries about fantasy or gambling due to the weather here.

Los Angeles Rams vs. Tampa Bay Buccaneers

The heat and humidity appear to be the biggest threat to Tampa players this Sunday. High will be around 90 degrees with the normal slight chance of scattered showers. Wind shouldn’t be a factor at 6-8 mph.

Tennessee Titans vs. Kansas City Chiefs

One of the coldest games will be in Kansas City, as temperatures will drop in the early evening from a high of 62 degrees to a low of 44 overnight. Fortunately, the winds will have calmed down since the day before and will be negligible, while there is no rain in the forecast.
