North East Weather: Hourly weather forecast with a mix of sunny and cloudy skies

0

Forecasters predicted a sunny Friday in the region to end the week.

The day will begin with low cloud in the region around dawn, but will gradually fade as the morning progresses. This will leave a generally bright day with extended periods of afternoon sunshine.

The Met Office weather forecast reads: “Extensive low cloud in the region around dawn, but steadily dissipating in the morning sun to leave a mostly bright day with hazy sunshine. Prolonged sunny spells are possible more late this afternoon. Mainly mild, cooler in a nearshore breeze. High temperature 15C.”

And for tonight, it will be a little cooler tonight due to a “cool breeze from the east”. Clouds are expected to re-form inland overnight with the possibility of drizzle patches at times towards morning.

The evening forecast reads: “Cold this evening with a cool easterly breeze. Cloud re-forming steadily inland overnight, perhaps with scattered drizzle at times, particularly near dawn. Low temperature 4C.”
