CLEVELAND, Ohio – Sunday was a beautiful fall day in northeast Ohio. Unfortunately, the weather will spoil in the next few days.
National Weather Service forecasters say Monday will be dreary, with highs in the mid-40s and cloudy skies. There is a 30% chance of showers after 3 p.m. and it will be breezy, with winds gusting up to 33 mph.
Wind gusts will become stronger overnight, reaching 36 mph, and temperatures will drop to around 35 degrees. Rain showers are likely, changing to snow early Tuesday morning. The good news is that little to no accumulation is expected.
The gloomy weather continues on Tuesday, with a 60% chance of showers and highs in the mid 40s. Winds won’t be as strong but will still be steady at 15-18 mph. Rain showers are likely overnight and temperatures will drop into the upper 30s.
There is a 50% chance of rain on Wednesday and highs will be in the mid 40s again. Thursday will be dry but still cloudy with highs reaching 50 degrees.
The weather improves on Friday, with partly cloudy skies and highs around 60 degrees. And the weekend is looking good, with mostly sunny skies Saturday and Sunday and highs in the mid to high 60s.
