It will be hot this weekend with temperatures expected to reach 20 degrees on Sunday and the promise of widespread sunshine.
Any lingering haze and patches of fog will dissipate quickly this morning to leave a dry day in most areas with sunny spells developing in the afternoon and just an odd stray shower. Mild with high temperatures of 16-20 degrees with light southwesterly or variable breezes.
Mainly dry with clear spells this evening, although a few showers over the Irish Sea will move into the eastern and northeastern counties. A few patches of mist and fog will develop in light breezes. Lowest temperatures 5 to 9 degrees.
Tomorrow will be mild with good sunny spells at first but becoming more cloudy later in the afternoon and evening. Largely dry too with just a few showers now and then. Highest temperatures 16-20 degrees generally, but light to moderate easterly breezes will keep it a little cooler near exposed coasts. Towards nightfall, rain showers will move into southern areas.
