India and West Indies kicked off their three-game ODI series at Queen’s Park Oval in Port of Spain. The Men in Blue started the game in incredible fashion as captain Dhawan led the way and scored 97 points. Besides Dhawan, Shubman Gill and Shreyas Iyer scored crucial points to take the total to 308.

Like India, the Windies also put in a great performance with Kyle Mayers and Brandon King scoring half-centuries. Towards the end of their innings, Romario Shepherd and Akeal Hosein produced an incredible finish as they nearly chased the aggregate but fell short by three runs in the end.
