Weather forecast for tomorrow’s GT vs MI game

Navi Mumbai weather forecast and update for tomorrow’s IPL 2022 match between Gujarat Titans and Mumbai Indians: After a long wait of 8 games, Rohit Sharma led Mumbai Indians who finally recorded their first win in IPL 2022 against Rajasthan Royals on Saturday, April 30. Mumbai chased Rajasthan’s tally of 158 as they registered a 5-wicket win in 19.2 overs. Despite losing wickets early on, Mumbai managed to keep their nerves together thanks to a brilliant half-century from Surya Kumar Yadav and a 30-ball 35 from Tilak Varma.

Hardik Pandya’s Gujarat Titans, meanwhile, will enter the contest with a defeat in their previous outing. After securing their playoff spot with 16 points, Gujarat faced Punjab Kings at Dr DY Patil Sports Academy in Navi Mumbai on Tuesday. In winning the coin toss, Gujarat opted to strike first but the decision soon started to backfire as the team lost three crucial wickets in the first 7 overs. Young Sai Sudarshan’s 50-ball 65 gave Gujarat some stability in the innings, but without support from the other side, the team could only get 143 runs.

In response, the Punjab Kings chased the aggregate from 16 overs as they relied on a strong 87-run partnership between fly-half Shikhar Dhawan and Bhanuka Rajapaksa for the second wicket. Liam Livingstone’s fiery 10-ball 30 helped Punjab finish the game in 16 overs. Livingstone netted 28 runs from Mohammad Shami’s 16th, taking the home beyond the winning line with 8 wickets in hand. Dhawan remained undefeated at 62 from 53 balls.
