Days after two workers died while four others were injured after a three-storey house under renovation in Satya Niketan, South Delhi collapsed, police on Friday arrested the district contractor from Araria in Bihar.

According to the police, the accused, Md Raees (46), had hired the workers, also from Araria, to renovate the house. They were paid around Rs 300-Rs 350 per day.
