India Levels Series after winning 2nd ODI
South Africa won the first ODI by 9 points. India made a comeback by winning the match by 7 wickets in the second ODI. South Africa won the coin toss and they opted to bat first in the second ODI. Batting first, they scored 278-7.
Flyhalf Quinton de Kock was fired for 5 runs while partner Janeman Malan scored 25. Later, Reeza Hendricks and Aiden Markram both scored 74 and 79, respectively. David Miller contributed 35 more undefeated runs for the group.
Later, Ishan Kishan and Shreyas Iyer both managed 93 points for India. Their performances were enough to give India a 7 wicket win. Mohammed Siraj contributed three wickets to the team’s bowling total. One wicket each was taken by Washinton Sundar, Shahbaz Ahmed, Kuldeep Yadav and Shardul Thakur.
