(Wednesday, May 25, 2022) The pleasant and comfortable weather of May continues for the next few days. The next chance of rain will not return until the start of the bank holiday long weekend.
Wednesday’s highs are once again warming into the 70s. There probably won’t be as much sun around Wednesday, but we still think that at least some bursts of sunshine are popping up every once in a while and pushing the highs within 70 degrees.
A warm front is clearing the area first thing Thursday and will be followed by a southerly breeze of more humid and slightly warmer air as well. There should be quite a bit of cloud around Thursday with a passing shower or two possible mostly west of Binghamton.
Thursday’s highs are expected to hit the 70s with enough sunshine.
A bigger batch of rain looks set to arrive for the end of the week with a slow moving cold front. It may take the morning and most of the afternoon on Saturday to clear the rain. But the second half of the Memorial Day holiday long weekend is looking much better! Get ready to enjoy the sun and warm, summery weather as we kick off the unofficial start of summer!
